Please submit written comment for the SSC by clicking on the 'Comment Now' links next to the relevant agenda item, below. The comment period will open on May 8, 2026, and the deadline for written comments is Friday, May 29, 2026 at 12pm AKT. Please make sure your comments adhere to the Council's comment policy.

Oral Testimony during the meeting:

The SSC will also take in-person and remote oral testimony during the meetings. Public comments to the SSC should be focused on scientific issues. During the meeting, you will be able to click on the applicable 'Sign-up' link next to each agenda item below, and you will also be asked to indicate if you will be testifying in person, or remotely. If you intend to give oral testimony remotely, you must be connected to the meeting, either through zoom on your device or through the call-in phone number.

The SSC meeting will be broadcast on zoom.  All information provided through the eAgenda or during testimony is part of the public record. We are recording the meeting and the recordings are available on the Council's YouTube channel.
